This position is responsible for performing all the optimal operation and functioning of all infrastructure in the factory/ plant.
Qualification Requirements
- Grade 12
Experience Requirements
- 3-5 years’ experience in plant operations.
- 3-5 years’ experience in a production environment (FMCG)
Skills and Competencies
- Responsible for a line or group of machines or a hall e.g. HB
- Conducts problem solving with the supervisor or in supervisor’s absence – Yellow Belt
- Stands in for the supervisor in management meetings
- Responsible for overall process/hall autonomous maintenance
- Responsible for ordering of materials – second signatory at stores
- Responsible for his/area stock balancing
- Responsible for calling out artisan in the absence of the supervisor – possesses some technical understanding
- Conducts invocoms
